FML. Not only do I get charged with developing a security matrix (which interests deeply as it serves my paranoia) for our department I have the pleasure of doing it with the biggest bunch of buck passers I have seen in my life. Their default response to damn near any thing that involves thinking outside their fucking desk is “That’s not in my job description.” This is the same group who preach unity and positivity in our team but please don’t actually mean it.

Their last argument was we were spaced out too far from each other to be effective. Granted we are all in different offices(100 freaking yards apart). The solution on top of having, email, video conferencing, phone (cellular and desk), and a corporate chat client complete with status updates and busy/free indicator, was to use Yammer. What a bunch of lazy asshats. I mean for real, you won’t email or call around with an issue or request, or God forbid you actually talk face to face, but you will load another resource hog 3rd party app with yet another damn userid and pass? No thanks. Pass.
